The history of the modern kilt stretches back to at least the end of the 16th century. Here at Tailor & Chess, we have taken up the tradition of making Genuine 100% 14oz Wool Kilts. We are linked to one of the biggest tartan weaving Mills in the Uk and have over 500 various Tartans (plaids) at our disposal ready to be used for your personal kilt. Alternatively we can have a Tartan woven to order as we have in some cases.Our kilts are authentic, hand made and hand crafted.
